Kingston Museum

Hi,

Having recently visited the Kingston Museum I'd like to express my support for it.  The museum has excellent visual and interactive displays, covering not just recent history but going back several hundred years.  They also have interesting 'modern' exhibitions, like the Dave McKean retrospective (graphical art and film).  Some months ago my boss took his young family there and was similarly pleasantly surprised.

So I was very concerned to read in Kingston Time and Leisure (Dec 07) that the museum might be under threat.  We pay our council taxes, the Rose Theatre is about to be finished, so I believe  the museum should remain a council priority.  And I urge everyone who's not been to visit, perhaps as part of a Kingston shopping tript.  As they say, use it or lose it!

Regards,

Luke Reader
