John Lewis staff took part in the wrong trousers day  wearing a variety of outfits from jeans to pyjamas and raised over £300 for their Charity. There were a few eyebrows raised by their customers but once they knew why the usually impeccable staff were dressed as they were they were happy to see money being raised for children.Check out the building on July 6th for another suprise

Kingston Council acts to cut landfill waste

Kingston Council has responded to an overwhelming demand from residents for recycling to be made easier by introducing a new and improved recycling collection service. The new service begins 1 September 2008 and will allow residents to recycle a wider range of materials that will be collected more often.

Tolworth man runs London Marathon

Tony Hart, 47, of Tolworth, Surrey, is preparing to run his fifth marathon and second London Marathon to raise awareness of coeliac disease, a condition that he was diagnosed with at the end of 2004. He will be raising funds for Coeliac UK, the national charity for people with coeliac disease.
