Tariro, Morden’s only Fair Trade Coffee House, opened its first Sutton branch with a bang on 5th November. The new Tariro is located inside the Sutton Salvation Army’s newly-refurbished buildings on the corner of Benhill Avenue and Throwley Way. Despite the expansion, the ethics-led independent coffee shop has vowed to keep up the ethos that has guided the business’ development over the last four years. Founder director of Tariro, Caroline Katiyo said: ‘Since Tariro’s first day, our aim has always been to enable people to make a real difference to the lives of others, just through simple, everyday choices, like which coffee to drink. If people choose us over other well-known chains then we’re doing something right.’
