Why not spice up your Christmas shopping experience this year by visiting Fulham town centre on Friday 7 December.

Jerdan Place, outside St Johns Church, will be the focal point for an array of festive celebrations to brighten your day as you search for all those Christmas gifts. Top of the bill will be Spice Girls tribute band ‘Wannabe’, who will be playing live.

Complementing the music will be Charlie the Clown, the tallest Snow Queen you’ve ever seen, a thrilling cup and saucer ride for the kids and, of course, Santa’s grotto. And if it’s too cold outside, visitors can warm up inside St Johns Church, which will be transformed into a Christmas gift market and food hall.

Stalls already lined up for the event include gourmet French food, local deli goodies, home-baked cakes, mulled wine, charity and handmade cards, gifts, accessories, pottery and jewellery.

Councillor Frances Stainton, cabinet member for culture and heritage, says, “This looks set to be a wonderful event to end the year and provide everyone with Christmas cheer. It is so nice to see our streets and public spaces come to life like this and I am sure it will get Christmas well underway for many of us.”

The event will run from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. For more information call 020 7835 5695 or visit www.lbhf.gov.uk or www.visitfulham.co.uk
