John Lewis staff took part in the wrong trousers day  wearing a variety of outfits from jeans to pyjamas and raised over £300 for their Charity. Richard and Robin Henderson started Realistic Rock in 2004 locally and are
well established as the best providers of tuition in music and live
performance for 10-16 year olds in the area. They helped form The Flaming
Monkeys who won the Vodafone Live Music Award 2007 and Black and White who won the XFM Rockschool winners 2007 and a new all girl band called Roxy featuring 11 year old musicians. Realistic Rock teach guitar, bass, drums, vocals and composition. The new premises have been soundproofed making them suitable for music and include recording studios, rehearsals rooms and space for private tuition.

Realistic Rock have been running courses for budding musicians at a variety
of venues including the Epsom Playhouse and students on their most recent
course will be performing at the theatre on Monday 31 March at 8.00pm. This
showcase event will feature live performances by students from the beginners
to band members course and the live performance workshops. The Epsom
Playhouse are delighted to be hosting this event and giving valuable stage
time to up and coming local young rock musicians.
