It was the first time they had entered the event and they were competing against four hundred other companies. Following a written submission, the Treatment Rooms had five rounds of interviews with judges including the CEO of Crystal Palace football club.
Their nominations were for Excellence in Training and Development, Customer Service, and Business Person of the Year. Only one other company received a similar number of proposals. The black tie ceremony was a star-spangled event hosted by David "Kid" Jensen. Although they didn¹t clinch the gold,
Director of the Treatment Rooms, Patricia Keeble-Frost, managing director, was thrilled: "This was a major achievement, for our first year of entering the London Business Awards. We were very excited to be competing with such elevated companies as the Marriott Hotels and Budget Car and Rentals. To be
nominated three times was an outstanding achievement for the size of our company compared to our peers. Here's to next year!"
