The subtle peacock hues - blue, green, emerald and turquoise are taken from her spiritual home in the West Country - Cornwall. Cornwall, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, whose dramatic ever-changing moods give Rosie's pictures a quiet mystical power of their own. Rosie has a deep interest in all things spiritual, and takes an holistic approach to self improvement and achieving an inner well-being, which is reflected in her work. Her work is an interesting series of juxtapositions between hard, masculine lines, feminine curves, plants and flowers, seascapes hinted at through intriguing archways - forcing the observer to linger and ponder.
