Time & Leisure have chosen to support Alzheimer’s Society at Fashion Night. The event is set to raise a lot of money for Alzheimer’s Society and will undoubtedly help to raise their profile.
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading care and research charity for people with dementia and those who care for them, and the society works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Every year, more than a million people make use of the information they provide.
There are currently 700,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.
All of the profits from the event will go towards helping people living with dementia, and will make a real difference to their lives and the lives of their carers and their families.
Since choosing Alzheimer’s Society as the charity, the Time & Leisure team has been touched by the stories of readers whose lives have been affected by dementia. We hope to raise as much as possible and have set a target of:
