Last night, at a brilliant and atmospheric awards night, the Merton business community came together to celebrate, reward their teams and enjoy the fun Bollywood-themed vibes at AFC Wimbledon.
The glamorous ceremony, organised by Merton Chamber of Commerce, was a great opportunity for businesses to be recognised for their innovation, dedication and brilliance. With categories such as Independent Business Award, Best Customer Service, Sustainable Impact and Best New Business, there was a huge variety of areas for different businesses to demonstrate their excellence.

It was a night full of celebrations for Polka Theatre, who came away with category awards for ‘Sustainable Impact’ and ‘Equality, Diversity & Inclusion’ and then sensationally crowned Best Business in Merton. The judges were impressed by their commitment to sustainability and their exceptional contributions to bringing about cultural change to create an environment in which all individuals are valued. So impressive was their application that they snagged the prestigious title of Best Business, recognising their exceptional hard work, innovation, and commitment to leading the way towards an equitable future.
