Spring has sprung and we’ll be getting into the Easter spirit at one of these top events taking place in Surrey


Cadbury Easter egg hunt

Follow a fabulous winding trail through the magical countryside arboretum at Winkworth and wind your way through the trees, glades and along the lake while keep your eyes peeled for chocolate eggs hidden by the Easter bunny. Each hunt is £3.

Easter holiday family fun

Make the most of the gardens at RHS Wisley in their springtime prime with a journey through the foliage, plus an extensive programme of family fun. There will be a giant poetry wall where children can add their own addition, plus an illustration competition. The garden will also get a visit from Rhyming Rabbit who will be onsite to tell stories, play games and host a special sow and grow workshop.

Hampton Court Palace Easter fair

This bank holiday, head to Hampton Court for a day of family fun fair with thrilling rides and white-knuckle roller coasters and plenty of attractions for adrenaline junkies. There will also be food and drink stands that carry on well into the evening. The event is free to enter.

Bocketts Farm Easter eggstravaganza

A special Easter takeover of Bocketts Farm with hundreds of baby lambs, baby chicks and bunnies galore, and even pig racing in a celebration of a season where the farm springs to life. There will also be a special meet the shepherd session, plus an Easter quiz trail with chocolate treats.

Easter family fun day

Celebrate the end of Easter holidays with a family day out to Kempton Park Racecourse where there will be a special race plus entertainment for the kids including pony rides, a petting farm and face painters.

Easter days out at Claremont

Claremont is putting on a whole host of Easter activities for all ages, including nature-themed workshops and informative trails through the grounds about bees, plus Easter egg hunts for the whole of the period. Check the website for pricing details.

Easter family afternoon tea

A classic afternoon tea with a springtime twist with crafts activities where kids can decorate their very own eggs in the glorious grounds of Painshill Park. Afternoon tea will include finger sandwiches, mini scones and cakes. A ticket for adults is £16 and children go for £8.50.

Easter holiday family fun

Throughout the Easter holidays, Brooklands Museum will be putting on a special celebration with car rides will be operating so you can take a vintage-style car up Test Hill or pick up one of the trails on offer for kids. Look out for Bertie the Brooklands Bear, who will be making guest appearances and leading the workshops.

Easter holidays at Watts Gallery

A range of fun family Easter events at Watts Gallery, with the chance to join the potter in creating artistic pieces. From celestial tealight holders to metallic moon prints, kids can follow in the footsteps of the Moonscapes artists and make it their mission to capture the magic of the Moon this Easter.

Cadbury Easter egg hunt

Take little ones along for a special nature challenge at Morden Hall Park and they’ll have the chance to solve clues while making their way around the grounds looking out for chocolate Easter eggs along the way. Trails are £2.
