Local businesses encouraged to showcase their talents

The Rt Hon Chris Grayling will be launching the Epsom & Ewell Business Awards at Esquires Café in Epsom Square on Friday 12 July.  The awards were established by Chris Grayling to recognise and showcase the success stories of businesses and individuals within the local area of Epsom & Ewell including Ashtead, Nork and Tattenhams.

Entrants can compete across ten different categories.  There will also be an award for the Best Overall Business. The closing date is 30 September with winners announced at an awards ceremony on the 21 November at the University for the Creative Arts.

The Epsom & Ewell Business Awards have made a real difference to the profile of businesses locally. Prizes include a tour of the House of Commons, £1000 worth of radio advertising courtesy of Radio Jackie, membership to Surrey Chambers and a business coaching session with Action Coach for the Overall Winner and a whole host of other prizes for category winners.

Entries and nominations are made online.  An independent panel of judges with local business expertise will select the winning entrants who will receive trophies and certificates at the Awards reception.
