Jane Braithwaite – Designated
Entrepreneur Jane Braithwaite tells us about the professional and flexible business solutions offered by Designated Group
Jane, tell us about your background and why you started your business, Designated Group?
As a mum to three to daughters I wanted to be around to support them as they grew up but I had a strong desire to create a business of my own. I knew I had to be bold and take the leap to create Designated or live to regret never trying.
How do you stand out in your industry?
Many companies provide similar support services, but I believe we stand out because of the relationship we have with our clients and the incredibly passionate, talented team we work with. Through our understanding of their dreams, goals and objectives, our clients view us as part of their team and contributing to their success. In this way we are so much more than a service provider. We are a partner.
Tell us a bit about the support and work you do with The Really Helpful Club?
Our team at Designated Group help the RHC with their marketing and have most recently been organising joint events focusing on the use of social media to promote small and medium- sized businesses. We will be continuing to work together on social media events and will be helping to establish a business networking community for RHC members.
What have you planned and where do you see the business in five years?
We are in the process of launching our new Designated Group logo to reflect the increasing number of services we provide and want to continue to attract the best talent within the growing number of people looking for flexibility in their work lives. For our clients, we want to be the go-to for designated support services at an affordable price.
