What’s new at Laidlaw Education?

The Laidlaw Virtual Academy has just flung its doors wide open and is welcoming new students!
This is an exciting new development designed to meet the needs of those who wish to supplement their school’s current provision during Covid 19 times or if you home school your child, to integrate into their ongoing Home Education. It launched with live lessons, one lesson per day, Monday to Friday, for year groups 1 to 6. The content of lessons is based on the current term’s National Curriculum in Maths and Literacy. Small groups, of no more than six, are taught by one of our select team. There are lots of exciting new additions to The Laidlaw Virtual Academy coming soon including support for GCSE assessments, interesting short courses for primary school children and booster sessions for all ages. We are finalising many online educational opportunities, for children of all ages, both during term time and the holidays – available very soon!

How does this work?

The Laidlaw Virtual Academy is accessed through our unique Laidlaw Education secure online platform, with integrated Zoom. Safe, fun and friendly.

Who are you?

Laidlaw Education is the leading education consultancy in South West London. Established for nearly 30 years, we have been delivering high quality face to face lessons from our classrooms in South West London to thousands of children- during the day, after school and on Saturdays. We also teach online via our dedicated online platform. Our wealth of experience includes teaching children of all ages and abilities, with our fantastic team of qualified and experienced teachers providing interactive and engaging lessons.

Who is in your team?

Founder Sue Laidlaw and Victoria Webb lead a team of over 30 teachers who are hand-picked! We are not an agency and, as such, work closely together to support all the children that we teach.

Who do you teach?

We see children and young people of all ages and for most subjects. Besides our extensive online lesson provision, we also teach in our vibrant classrooms- many of our children are home educated and enjoy the opportunity to learn with others.
In addition, we are a CReSTeD registered Dyslexia Teaching Centre and support many children with specialist needs.

“Gentle and experienced teachers. Well lead. Super organised. Shown amazing versatility and agility during covid to ensure a quality experience.”
