Heading up the kitchen team is Brazilian Erich Ribeiro. A passionate traveller, Erich brings infl uences from around the world not forgetting his native Brazil. His Moquecca (a delicately spiced mixed fi sh stew) is fast becoming a signature dish, but Erich’s passion is vegetarian and vegan cuisine – think roasted carrot tostada, shakshuka or how about vegan ‘pulled pork’ mac n cheese. All this alongside the very best fi sh and chips, handmade chuck steak burger and rare breed steak and chips that you expect to find in your favourite local.

Every Monday is BYO night; bring along your own wine to enjoy, or take advantage of 20% off bottles from the wine list when each guest orders a main course from the à la carte menu. On Tuesdays, it’s steak night, a meat eater’s heaven – all sourced from small Surrey farms, grass fed and dry aged on the bone for 21 days.

Available for private hire, The Malt House caters for weddings, birthdays, family occasions, filming and corporate events. The focus is on high quality food, wine, and service, delivered in a relaxed environment which retains the charm and character of a classic British gastropub.
