The Surrey Artisan Trail

The Surrey Hills is home to a fantastic community of artisans who want to share their passion for what they do and so a self-guided trail has been launched where visitors can take part in demos, workshops and food and drink tastings.

Activities include vineyard and gin distillery tours, cookery masterclasses, farm visits, coffee tasting and roasting, leather craft workshops, woodwork demonstrations and outdoor cookery experiences. You could, for instance, tour Albury Organic vineyard, then head on over to Norbury Park Farm Cheese company. Or take part in a feast over fire at The Salt Box, which sounds incredible. The Surrey Hills Artisan Trail website enables you to plan your route and book your sessions in advance.

There’s also Artisan markets, too, showcasing the best of Surrey Hills Artisans including local food, drink, arts, and crafts – perfect for some pre-Christmas shopping…
