On my own recent travels, I was lucky enough to experience the stunning Canadian Rockies in style. Staying at some of Canada’s finest resorts but also incorporating and independent self-drive tour as part of my trip. The highlight for me was certainly travelling from Jasper to Vancouver on the iconic Rocky Mountaineer. We travelled in style in the GoldLeaf cabin and it was certainly worth the upgrade. Alberta and British Columbia – perhaps the most well-known regions of Canada mainly due to the Rocky Mountains, Banff and Jasper National Parks and Vancouver, one of the most magnificent cities in the world. Add in the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer train journey, unsurpassed wildlife viewing including grizzly bears and orcas, world-class salmon fishing, remote lodges and even Alaska cruises from Vancouver – western Canada will, no doubt, exceed your expectations. The views of the iconic Lake Louise are one of the most Instagrammed images of Canada, and it’s easy to see why.
