FROM THE FRINGE

New Wimbledon Theatre’s very own micro-fringe festival is back with a bang for 2024 with an eclectic, 24 show line-up. On Friday you can see the musical Summoning Sondheim, and on Saturday there’s Welcome to the World for families or the comedy show Eleanor Conway: Talk Dirty to Me. On Sunday you can catch the family show The Ballad of Billie and the Tree Stump.
Food
1910 Cantina
Fulham
Truly wondrous Mexican cuisine is served alongside expertly-crafted mezcal and tequila at 1910. The food is inspired by chef and co-owner Mauricio’s family recipes, which include melt-in-your-mouth quesadillas with beef birria, Tijuana spices, cheese and all the toppings, and amazing conchinita Pibil – pulled pork with habanero salsa, served with two tortillas. The drinks menu pairs excellently with this exquisite selection of food, with more than 160 choices of agave spirits to choose from. This can all be savoured in a lively and vibrant atmosphere.
