Avoid the overcrowded central London and satisfy all your shopping needs locally! At the 5-Day Gift Market you can find everything you need, from designer handbags to delish chocolates.  

3 Kingston Christmas Market – 10 November – 24 December 

Wander through over countless classic wooden cabins to find a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts. While the youngsters enjoy a trip on the vintage carousel, head to Alpine Village and cosy up next to the fire pit with a bag of roasted chestnuts.

4 Loseley House Christmas Fair – Guildford – 17-20 Nov

Talented makers and designers from all over the UK come together for this lovely festive market. Browse a wide range of products from gorgeous ceramics to yummy food.

5 Winter Wonderland – Hyde Park – 18 November – 2 January

Featuring UK’s largest outdoor ice rink, Winter Wonderland is located in the heart of London’s Hyde Park. Stroll through our 100 charming traditional wooden chalets, sip on mulled wine and dig into mince pies under a canopy of twinkling lights and see London’s epic skyline from above.

7 Love Wimbledon’s Christmas Market on The Piazza – 19-20 November, 26-27 November, 3-4 December, 9-11 December

Love Wimbledon’s Local Market on The Piazza, a gastronomic haven, has become known for its delicious street food and tantalising sweets. And it’s festive! Smell the fragrance of freshly made artisan bread and delectable pies, tuck into luscious sweets, olives, and cheese, or sample the hot meals available.

8 The Ashley Centre Christmas Market – Epsom – 19 November – 31 December

Lots and lots of exciting stalls and artisan producers gather together in Epsom to inspire you for Christmas. Come on the 19th to witness the incredible lights switch on with the pantomime cast of Epsom Playhouse, Father Christmas and Ashley Bear.  

9 St Paul’s Christmas Fair – Community Centre, 23 Inner Park Road, SW19 6ED – 19 November 

A large selection of colourful Christmas stalls, Santa’s grotto for your little ones, raffle and lucky bags, home-baked goods and tasty lunches! Come to St Paul’s and enjoy a festive afternoon out – open between 11 am and 3 pm. Adults need to pay 50p, kids go free.

1 Dorich House Museum’s Winter Weekend, 1-3 Dec 

Come to Dorich House Museum this holiday season for a full weekend of festive events and activities! Enjoy free talks about the museum’s collections, a wreath-making workshop, paper craft activity for all ages, and a pop-up market from Not My Beautiful House. Some events need to be booked in advance.  

2 Unwrap Dorking This Christmas – Dorking Town Centre – 1 December

Come to Dorking for an evening of festive family fun with late night shopping, food stalls, live music and entertainment plus meet the stars of this year’s Dorking Halls panto, ‘Cinderella’. 

3 FESTIVE FAYRE – Hampton Court Palace 2-4 December

8 CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE – Wimbledon Village- 4 DECEMBER

Christmas in the Village is jam-packed with activities for the whole family. Santa will be greeting and treating children in his Grotto, pony rides and face-painting are available for little ones and at lunchtime he’ll be taking to his trusty steed for a horseback parade down the High Street. Plus a concert from the Wimbledon Community Chorus at 10 am, with all donations going to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

9 Barnes Christmas Festival – Barnes High Street – 9 December

Come and enjoy a festive day out in Barnes! Lots of great things going on, including fairground rides a selection of festive stalls and a BBQ outside The OSO (weather permitting). 

10 Eco Day – Trinity Church – 10 December

Help turn your borough into a more sustainable place to live and raise funds for Sustainable Merton. It’s an event for all ages and includes a Craft & Gift Fair, a Clothing Exchange – an increasingly popular way to beat the fast fashion problem – and two Christmas wreath-making workshops which need to be booked in advance.  

11 Ram Quarter Christmas makers’ market – Wandsworth, 17 December
