Urban Art Fair 2019

London’s largest annual open-air contemporary arts fair will be once again taking place along Josephine Avenue in Brixton. Artists will use the street’s railings as an open air gallery, exhibiting works along the length of the pavements. It’s a fantastic opportunity for visitors to see original pieces, talk to artists, and learn all about the creative processes behind them.

Lovebox

Those who didn’t quite get a coveted Glastonbury ticket can go all out festival fever in Gunnersbury Park this July, with a fabulous line-up including Solange, Chance the Rapper, Loyle Carner and Lizzo. Enjoy food from the many street food stands, and soak up the party atmosphere by making your way around the tents.

Pizza Shop Heroes at Tara Arts  

From one of the leading refugee theatre groups in the UK, four former child refugees from Eritrea, Afghanistan and Albania will be taking us on a journey across time and continents, sharing their own stories in front of an audience.

Shakespeare in the Squares

Returning for a fourth year, Shakespeare in the Squares will be back with a stunning al fresco performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. With themes of love and magic, this performance also brings music and circus into the mix.

Kew Science Festival

Visit Kew Gardens for a magical weekend of workshops, hands-on experiments and behind-the-scenes tours that will captivate children. Kids will have the chance to converse with world-renowned scientists who will be on hand to showcase what they’re doing to protect Kew’s rare plant collection.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival

RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival will be returning this summer with glorious botanical gardens, immense floral displays, gourmet picnicking and celebrity talks. The festival will be welcoming the Duchess of Cambridge who will be co-designing a garden with award-winning Davies White landscape architects.

Barnes Fair
