Pam Custers – The Relationship Practice

We talk to Pam Custers from The Relationship Practice about her experience working with couples and supporting with counselling

The Relationship Practice provides counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, young people and families. We believe that the difference between a good and a bad relationship is the difference between thriving and simply surviving.

Turning a troubled relationship around is incredibly rewarding and I believe makes a lasting impact on the lives of others. The work we do at my practice is fulfi lling both for our clients and ourselves. I am always amazed by the strength of the human spirit and our ability to make small changes that make a big impact.

Our practice is a lively and busy one and I have an amazing team of highly experienced associates that provide specialist support so we are able to provide the appropriate care for our clients. We are able to provide both face-to-face and online care.

We have a wonderful outreach programme and with the expert support of The Really Helpful club, we have been able to extend our programme to provide the wider community with psychoeducational talks on a range of topics that support healthy relationships. Working with them has been one of the highlights of this process and their support is key to the work we do.

We have an exciting programme planned for this coming year that includes online counselling, a couple connection workshop and self-esteem for young people to name a few. It is wonderful that we are all making our mental health a priority as it is the cornerstone to a happier life and community.
