12 Days of Christmas

The festive season can be celebrated in so many different ways. We've put together an eclectic collection of local Christmas events that will get every member of the family in the festive spirit.

Love Wimbledon's Winter Wonderland

This annual day of festive family fun will see part of the road being pedestrianised to host the takeover of a magical Christmas spell, featuring market stalls, street entertainment, children's rides, live ice carving and the Big Brass Band. Look out for the snowboard simulator, Santa sumo and Christmas pudding bouncy castle, and enjoy the craft workshop tent, silent disco and firework display.

Annual Christmas Carols

A traditional carol concert, held by candlelight in the stable yard, with a choir, mince pies, mulled wine and a visit from Santa; a perfect evening for the whole family. Tickets are available by collection from the stables office.

Chamberhouse Winds: The Snowman in Concert

Enjoy Chamberhouse Winds' enchanting family-friendly adaptation of Raymond Briggs' much-loved story The Snowman, plus festive Christmas music. There'll also be a snowman-drawing competition and a prize for the best festive hat.

Bolshoi Ballet: The Nutcracker (screening)

Scrooge and the Seven Dwarves

On a cold Christmas Eve, Santa and his elves are preparing for antoher busy night. But just as Santa is ready to set off on his present delivery, he realises the sleigh won't start because the Wicked Witch has stolen all the Christmas spirit. In his desperation, Santa looks to the most unlikely of heroes to save the day - the terrifying Ebenezer Scrooge.

A Celebration of Christmas Past

The Bishop and his family celebrated many a Christmas at Fulham Palace. Join Curator Miranda Poliakoff on a guided tour to hear about Christmas at the Palace over the centuries, including the famous children's parties hosted by Bishop Winnington-Ingram. Tickets will include a glass of mulled wine.
