Christmas lights switch-on craft and storytime, Kingston
Celebrate the season by gathering around the Christmas tree on Clarence Street and watch as the town comes to light. There will be plenty of family-friendly fun on the day including a crafts and storytime at the library, a whole host of festive activities at the Bentall Centre, as well as tasty Christmas treats at the Kingston market.

Farnham Town Christmas light switch-on
Farnham’s Gostrey Meadow will be transforming into a winter wonderland with a live nativity, a free Santa’s grotto, children’s fairground rides, food and drink stalls, plus special live performances from local schools and theatre groups.

Northcote Road Christmas Lights
This community street will be kicking off the Christmas fun with carollers, a Santa’s grotto and plenty of opportunities to grab a mince pie or quaff a mulled wine. The street will transform with over 60 stalls selling clothing, jewellery, toys and homeware, and the anticipation will reach a climax in the run up to the actual light switch on where the street will be transformed with exceptional illuminations.

Sutton Christmas light switch-on
An annual event ahead of the festivities complete with music, dancing, singing, pantomime and plenty of elf mischief. The day will commence at 11am and go on until the evening before the official town centre lights are switched on.

SUNDAY 25 NOVEMBER
Dorking Christmas light switch-on
Dorking is set to see in the Christmas period with its annual festival whereby the high street is taken over with a market, and restaurants and shops pack in the punters with their finest seasonal fare. There will be performances from musicians and carollers to see the light switch on in style.

Twickenham Green Christmas light switch-on
A family-friendly festive switch-on with a jam-packed afternoon. Visitors can enjoy a ride on a Victorian galloping horse carousel, wander from stall to stall for a mug of mulled wine, and soak up the atmosphere as the Royal Military School Marching Brass Band perform before the Christmas tree light-up.

Positively Putney Christmas Light Switch On
The annual festive switch-on with performances from local schools, a live stage compered by Wandsworth Radio, and stalls exhibiting street food and festive crafts.
