Top Christmas Grottos

He’s exceptionally busy this time of year, but Santa has managed to set aside some time to visit little ones of south west London and Surrey and treat them to a festive gift before the big day rolls around..

Christmas at Bocketts Farm
Experience a magical Christmas trip to visit Santa at Bocketts Farm as the man in red himself returns to his hay barn workshop. Children can climb aboard the Santa Express and venture to his grotto where they’ll meet Santa and receive a gift. Afterwards, enjoy all the other sites at the farm and make the most of the full farm programme with events including goat milking, tractor rides and even pig racing.

Christmas at Birdworld
As well as Santa, children will have the chance to meet some of his reindeer and other friendly farm animals as they enter the magical grotto at Birdworld. Kids will get a Christmas present and the big kids accompanying them can enjoy a mince pie and hot fruit punch.

Christmas at Wisley
Santa Claus will be taking up residency at beautiful Wisley this festive season with a singalong, storytime, and even special events where kids can decorate gingerbread to take home as gifts. Sessions last approximately half an hour and there will be opportunities for photos.

Santa at Squires
Squires is going all out this Christmas with a series of festive events taking place across its stores across the UK. Father Christmas will be making his grand arrival in store on 17 November. At the Woking branch, Santa will be arriving in style on a horse drawn carriage, and Twickenham visitors will welcome Santa who will be riding an old fashioned Routemaster bus before opening his magical grotto. He will also be bringing along some real reindeer to selected centres and dishing out gifts to good boys and girls.

Santa comes to the zoo
Battersea Park’s zoo will be opening its doors to welcome Father Christmas and his helpers. Animals around the park will be putting up stockings and he’ll be walking around the grounds to deliver Christmas presents to the animals and children. Tickets include a sticker, small festive gift, and a Christmas treat.

Christmas grotto at Elys
Elys will be hosting a magical grotto where visitors to the Wimbledon store can pay Father Christmas a visit. You can then wander the rest of the store at will and pick up some gifts and decoration in the splendid Christmas section.

Chessington Garden Centre
Father Christmas will be arriving at Chessington Garden Centre to take up residency in the Christmas Creations Room. From here, children will embark on a spectacular journey through the winter wonderland to meet Santa in his grotto.
