The Decorcafe Decorfest

A local initiative, The Decorcafe Decorfest, has attracted more than 65 homes and gardens exhibitors of the highest quality, including Radio 4 Question Time’s Pippa Greenwood, internationally renowned artist and designer Rory Dobner, lighting experts LightBulbs Direct and colour specialist Karen Haller.

You will have the opportunity to meet the designers, shop for original home and garden products, art and ceramics and learn from hands-on activities and specialist talks.

Highlights include demonstrations by The Painted House founder Clare Bosanquet on how to use the patterned paint roller to easily create a hand-painted effect on fabric and walls, extraordinary ceramic wall art by local artist Isobel Allan-Lowe and beautiful fabrics and home accessories inspired by the British countryside by designer Lorna Syson.

If you want to learn how to paint furniture, create an outdoor kitchen, hand-tie a bouquet of flowers, grow vegetables, make a lampshade and even research the history of your home, this is your chance to meet interior, garden, audio and lighting designers wanting to share new ideas.

With delicious food and refreshments including a champagne bar, you will no doubt be tempted to stay all day! There are even workshops for children from the age of five which can be booked in advance.

Sponsored by Coombe Residential, Decorfest is organised in partnership with KCS Enterprises and is being held in the impressive King’s College in Wimbledon to raise money for the school’s bursary scheme, helping to educate talented but socially disadvantaged children.

Tickets are £5 in advance and £10 on the door.
