Where To Watch Wimbledon Tennis 2019
Every July, tennis fever grips the nation with Wimbledon Tennis 2019 bursting to life with Pimms-drinking picnickers descending on the town, and Murray Mound inundated with enthusiastic tennis fans. For those who don’t have tickets to the games, here are some of our favourite screenings where you can catch all the action.
Where better to watch the sets play out than in the heart of Wimbledon. The cheery market square will be hosting a big screen pop up in the town’s Piazza, complete with deck chairs and fake grass.
1-14 July; 11am-6pm
Strawberries and Screen
Taking place on the Square’s green running track, the finals will be shown on a giant screen. There will be picnic hampers available from Partridges and a pop-up stall selling strawberries and cream throughout the weekend. In addition, Pretty Little Tea Company will be serving Prosecco, Pimms, Peroni, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, homemade cakes, ice cream tubs and strawberries in cream on both Friday and Sunday, with Partridge’s annual pop-up bar returning on Saturday. For the little ones, there will be professional tennis coaching on the Square, offering complimentary lessons for youngsters to master their best Wimbledon-esque moves.

The Dog and Fox
Right in the heart of Wimbledon Village, the Dog and Fox pub offers a great location just a stone’s throw from the iconic stadium. The pub will be screening all the games across their six television screens and visitors can also make their way to the enchanting beer garden and watch the tennis in the glorious July sunshine.

Big Screen on the Green
Fulham Palace and Morden Hall Park are just two of the locations that have been scheduled to show Wimbledon tennis 2019, with huge open-air screenings in the park, plus live music and food stands offering tasty cuisines to hungry sports fans. Bring along a picnic blanket and some Prosecco and make the most of the sunshine and picturesque setting.
Wimbledon at the Hand in Hand
Close to all the action and a short walk away, Wimbledon’s the Hand in Hand will be screening the biggest matches with a guaranteed great atmosphere to boot.
1-14 July; 12pm-4pm
The Old Frizzle
Wimbledon’s much-loved local pub has a great back room that lends itself to sporting events like Wimbledon. The Old Frizzle will be serving Pimm’s-a-plenty and showing every second of all the matches so you don’t miss a nail-biting moment. The two-week tennis fest will be kickstarted with a tennis party, with gin tastings and live music.
Wimbledon kick-off party on 29 June.
Chelsea’s beautiful Bluebird will be opening its doors for you to watch the drama of the tournament unfold while enjoying lunch or a cocktail in the courtyard. The Chelsea establishment will also be reinstalling its tennis ball decoration to get you in the spirit.
