Businesses given one more week to apply for a Merton Best Business Award

Have you submitted your application for the Merton Best Business Awards yet? There’s an additional week to go until the NEW deadline of Friday 22nd July, so don’t miss out on the chance to reward yourself, your staff and your business.

The awards are open to any size of business based in Merton and will celebrate and recognise businesses that have shown resilience, excellence, innovation and best practice in the borough.

There are some amazing categories that reflect the resilience of businesses and will shine a light on our wonderful Merton businesses and are a superb morale boost – just what we all need at the moment!

Some of the awards this year include:

• Employer of the Year: Do you invest in your employees? If you have developed initiatives that help to attract, develop and retain staff then this category is for you.
• Best in the Property Sector: New this year, this category will reward a business doing great things and want to be recognised for all their hard work in the property sector.
• Digital Excellence Award: This category will recognise a business that has used digital tools that have had a positive impact on the business – perhaps a successful social media campaign, a new website, or maybe you use an app to support the running of the business.
• Hospitality Business of the year. This category is fantastic for any business in the hospitality scene that is doing great things and deserve to be recognised!
• Sustainable Impact Award: Are you doing anything to improve your sustainability credentials? If you are taking steps (big or small!) to reduce your carbon footprint, then this is the category for you.
