Merton Chamber: A Greener Future

Working in partnership with Sustainable Merton, our local leading environmental charity and supported by Wimbledon Centre Court Shopping, the 16^th January 2020 saw the launch of our network to support businesses in their journey to address the Climate Emergency. Businesses attending shared actions they are taking and the challenges they face. Actions included setting up bee-hives on the office roof, converting to low carbon emission vehicles, looking at supply chains and responsible investments – a huge array of areas to tackle. With 33% of the borough’s emissions coming from businesses, we need to act now to reduce our carbon footprint.
