Sutton’s 1st Women Mean Business Awards ceremony set to reach new heights
The sky is the limit for Sutton’s celebration of the year – the finale of the first ever awards recognising the borough’s brilliant women entrepreneurs
Sutton Women Mean Business Awards in association with Willmott Dixon will stage its much anticipated awards ceremony in the town’s landmark Quadrant House on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.
The sparkling event is taking over the 14th Floor of the iconic building next to Sutton Station, with its spectacular views over the borough and beyond.
Guests will enjoy an evening of delicious food, great networking and entertainment. The highlight will be the exclusive announcement of the winners of the nine category awards, along with the premier award, Sutton’s Businesswoman of the Year.
Tickets are on sale now, and Patricia Park, BID Manager of awards partner, Successful Sutton urged the community to come along and support the event. She commented: “The sheer number of entries we received and the quality of the shortlist that has been drawn up from it in this first year is the most important thing for me. I can’t wait to meet all our entrants at the awards ceremony, which promises to be a fantastic celebration of their achievements.”
The Sutton WMB Awards launched in March to recognise the enterprise of the many women working in borough, from corporate leaders managing businesses, to young rising-star entrepreneurs, and vital front-line service professionals. Sutton Inspirational Women ambassadors, introduced at the launch (pictured above), helped promote and encourage entries.

An overwhelming number of entries were received for the inaugural awards and the judges were unanimously impressed by their extremely high standard.
