PERFECT CIDER RECIPES FOR A SPOOKY HALLOWEEN
Treat (or trick) yourself with one of Sandford Orchards’ delicious mulled cider recipes.
Mulled cider is a centuries-old drink that originated as a toast to the apple trees and the arrival of spring during the ancient Pagan ceremony of the Wassail. Made with mulled ale, curdled cream, roasted apples, eggs, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and sugar, it was originally known as ‘waes pu hael,’ (which means ‘good health’ in Anglo Saxon). Fortunately, these Halloween cider recipes from Sandford Orchards are significantly more appealing.
