The Victoria is a unique gastropub with rooms in East Sheen. Proudly independent since 1888, it serves locals and passers-by all day long. From breakfast after the school run to brunch at weekends, from lazy lunches to the best à la carte dinner around, and of course an epic Sunday roast. You’ll find well-loved modern British favourites at this gastronomic bolt hole, but expect innovation too – think roasted hake with nettle purée, chargrilled chicken with Indian bhel puri salad and lamb kofta with pomegranate tzatziki, plus a carefully considered wine list, full of character, alongside craft lagers and cask ales.

An airy conservatory dining room leads out to a leafy, walled garden; a lovely spot for a lazy lunch or a relaxing drink with friends on a balmy evening. Seven hip hotel rooms are housed in the stylish, converted stables out back. Popular with business people, those visiting London or attending nearby events, all rooms are modern and comfortable, with luxurious Queen-sized beds and Egyptian cotton linen.

Every Monday is BYO night; bring along your own wine to enjoy, or take advantage of 20% off bottles from the wine list when each guest orders a main course from the à la carte menu. On Tuesdays, it’s Steak Night, a meat eater’s heaven – all sourced from small Surrey farms, grass fed and dry aged on the bone for 21 days. Thursday is Quiz Night, pit your wits against the other teams to wine a fab prize! Well known for their cool supper clubs, save the date for the next one – Friday Sept 6th. It’s all about fragrant spice!

The Victoria is available for private hire and caters for weddings, birthdays, family occasions, filming and corporate events. The focus is on high quality food, wine, and service, delivered in a relaxed environment which retains the charm and character of a classic, British gastropub. You can do a whole takeover (bedrooms as well), or just hire a smaller area of the pub – anything is possible!
