Tell us a bit about your business?
BMS is a trusted removal company specialising in seamless and stress-free relocations, serving the majority of Surrey, Middlesex and southwest London. You’ve probably seen us zooming around on the roads before!
We are a team of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals, committed to our comprehensive removal service. From packing, loading/unloading, and dismantling/reassembling to storage solutions, we ensure the safe and efficient transfer of belongings to your new destination.
Our experienced movers handle items with utmost care and respect, using a super environmentally friendly fleet of vehicles. Customer satisfaction is our motto!
How does it feel to have recently won Best Customer Service Award at Merton Best Business Awards?
It’s recognition for the years of hard work we have put into making sure that we are delivering a great service to the people that matter most: our customers. Our team ethos is very much customer service focused, and winning this award gave us a huge boost knowing we are doing something right.
How did you get into your chosen career?
It all started 15 years ago, literally operating out of our parents’ garage. We both had part time jobs as sales people for a national furniture retailer. Customers would sometimes ask us to assemble furniture, and one day a customer asked us to deliver a sofa. Using our father’s car, we delivered the sofa to the customer. That was really where it all started.
From there, we bought a small van, delivering furniture and doing small delivery jobs on the weekend and evenings. After graduating, we both had full time jobs and continued deliveries on weekends and evenings. Eventually the vision of becoming our own bosses outgrew the daily grind of working for someone else. So we took the plunge to quit our jobs and pursue our own vision. We haven’t looked back since!
What do you enjoy about what you do?
We really appreciate and are thankful for absolutely everything. The customer satisfaction – nothing makes you feel better day to day. The learning we gain from seeing our business grow from nothing and being completely self-taught is inspiring, and the people that you meet along the way are incredible.
The team we have makes us feel honoured, and the discipline that we have learned from running and growing a business has helped us in all aspects of our life. We hope to inspire the younger generation to pursue their dreams, no matter how ridiculous or unobtainable it may seem, We were told from day one that this would go nowhere and we were wasting our time. Look how wrong that was!
What stands you out as the best choice for customers?

Providing an outstanding experience is paramount, so each customer receives personalised attention, clear communication, and reliable service from start to finish, with our friendly and knowledgeable team always happy to help.
Anyone can move items but how well you do it, and how your customer feels, is what makes the difference, and so our philosophy is to ‘under promise and over-deliver’. Instead of making unrealistic claims, we focus on setting realistic expectations and then surpassing them. By consistently going the extra mile and providing exceptional service, it leaves customers pleasantly surprised and creates long-lasting relationships built on trust.
What are the plans for the future?
The plan is grow the storage side of our business, eventually buying our very own storage facility, and in time moving more into international relocation… all whilst maintaining the personal touch of a family run business. We want to start giving back to the community by doing charity work, sponsoring local youth club and communities and doing our part for the planet by being more environmentally friendly.
