I am a practicing doctor of over 25 years and have been a local general practitioner for 22 years. I also have a successful medical aesthetic business in Surbiton, Windsor, Guildford, High Wycombe and I am opening in Harley Street in the next month.

I started my medical aesthetic career 12 years ago and I regularly attend conferences and masterclasses. My aim is give my clients a personalised package and I am always developing and integrating the new developments within the field. I have had the privilege to be involved in training other professionals in Botox and Dermal fillers in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. I have a variety of clients from celebrities and an international clientele.

My core business is using Botox, dermal fillers and Priori peels. I believe a client should feel and look confi dent, youthful and natural. This is my signature mark and is where I may differ from some other practitioners.

I do a wide variety of procedures from lip augmentation, cheek augmentation, ono surgical face-lifts, jaw defining procedures, non-surgical rhinoplasty and tear troughs injections using dermal fillers. Botox can be used to reduce wrinkles but also use them to treat gummy smiles, smoker’s lines and nefertiti neck lift amongst other procedures.

The peels I use are to slow down aging and can help with acne scarring and pigmentation.

Clients are now interested in non-invasive procedures, with no down–time. Botox is still a frontrunner and people have seen friends and family getting more successful results, so leading to more confidence in getting a natural look.

There is a surge in nonsurgical face-lifts, giving you a natural, youthful look with no need for the knife. This year I have noticed an increase in requests for contouring of jaw and chins.

What can a client expect when they have a treatment?

I hope the client would get a friendly, honest, professional and personalised plan targeted at their needs and wants. I believe in tackling their issue but also advising what would give the best results for their money. Sometimes a client can arrive focused on one issue that actually might not get them the best result and my experience and eye direct them to procedures that would give them the best outcome.

I believe that is why I have a long-standing loyal client base and they recommend me to their friends and family. I have clients who were once in the area and still come over to see me, as well as clients who fly in especially from abroad. The client only sees me as I have no one else working with or alongside me.

What do you see for the future of the industry?

The medical aesthetic field is just going to continue to increase and the increase in providers makes it more important to find a reputable, experienced and good value provider.

Men are getting more interested in getting procedures and I only see this increasing. There will continue to be ongoing advances in dermal fillers and their uses.
