Robert Kirby first discovered his passion for hairdressing at the tender age of 14. He mastered his craft in his home town of Dublin and by the age of 18 had relocated to London and was working with the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Group of salons. His innovative and creative approach to hairdressing saw him return to Ireland in 1994 to open his own ‘Robert Daniel’ Salon and in 1998 he won the coveted ‘L’Oreal Colour Award’ and continued to build his reputation as one of Ireland’s leading hairdressers.

Situated in the leafy suburbs of South West London, Robert Kirby Salons offer an abundance of services and products, all imported from the exclusive Danish ID Hair Company. These include Niophlex, the Hairdresser’s new best friend. By combining ground-breaking Niophlex with traditional colour and bleaching treatments, damage to hair is prevented before it is even started.

The salons also offer a unique collection of Luxury home products. The range includes Cuban Tobacco and Oak scented candle, and Sandalwood and Vetiver reed diffuser.

Since returning to London in 2008, he has been nominated for ‘British Hairdresser Of The Year’ and appointed ‘ID Hair UK Creative Ambassador’. He continues to teach and present at hairdressing seminars all over the world and has built a loyal following of celebrity clients. His work has featured in publications and catwalks worldwide. Robert Kirby London Salons were founded in 2014 with Robert Kirby Balham and the newest addition Robert Kirby Wimbledon in 2018.
