Curling in London and Surrey

This season’s top trend is Curling! Here’s where to try it…

Alpine Village Curling, Kingston, 10 November to 2 January

Head to the incredibly festive town centre for seasonal treats, a market and a spot of curling. One lane can host up to four people and costs £10 for a 45 minute game. Open 10am to 8pm. Staff will explain the rules and techniques before you start, to get the most out of your experience. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There are no restrictions on minimum age, although given the weight of the curling stones, the minimum age for a child is four.

Inspired by alpine slopes and ski chalets of years gone by, Coal Drops Yard will be transformed into an illuminated festive wonderland. There will be six multi-coloured, sustainable curling lanes for just £7 per person (children under 12 play for free when accompanied by an adult). Teams of up to six can play from 12pm to 8pm every day, with sessions lasting 45 minutes, then head to the après ski bar!
