Love Wimbledon: Get a spring in your step with lots of activities for the family to enjoy!

Brighter days ahead – enjoy them with Love Wimbledon! With the Easter holidays upon us, spring is the perfect time to experience all that Wimbledon has to offer.

Easter Activities

Keep little shoppers entertained with FREE face painting at Love Wimbledon’s Local Market on The Piazza on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April, 11 am to 6 pm (outside Morrisons), plus Postal Bunnies delivering mini chocolate eggs to children in the town centre (Saturday 2nd April, 11 am – 4 pm). The market is a great spot to grab a bite to eat, bring the dog for a walk and enjoy shopping outdoors.

Tee up and perfect your putt. Head to Centre Court Shopping Centre from 1st April for their ‘Easter Putting Park’, an indoor crazy golf pop up.

Family Performances

Step through the wardrobe and into the world of one of the nation’s favourite novels. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they wave goodbye to wartime Britain and say hello to a talking Faun, an unforgettable Lion and the coldest, cruellest White Witch (played by former Eastenders star Samantha Womack). The grand production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe (6+ years) is running at New Wimbledon Theatre, from 12th – 16th April.

Catch Polka Theatre’s vibrant, fun and thought-provoking performances How to Hide a Lion (3-6 years), an enchanting musical adaptation of Helen Stephens’ picture book, and Plastic Drastic Fantastic (7 years+), a dance show exploring our complex relationship with all things plastic – through the medium of South Asian dance, intricate movements, play and interaction. Accessible performances available too.

Dining Out

With plenty of choice in Wimbledon, dining out with the kids can be a treat. Enjoy authentic Italian cuisine and brick oven pizza at Al Forno, join the gravy train for an indulgent take on gourmet burgers and milkshakes at Dip & Flip, go for small portions at Sticks ‘n’ Sushi or flavourful curries at newly opened Bombay Delight. Whatever you’re in the mood for, there’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser.
