Pub in the Park is excited to reveal the line-up of award-winning chef hosts, first wave restaurants and music that will be rolling into Wimbledon this Summer.
Brand new for this year, three chefs never before seen at to Pub in the Park Wimbledon will be hosting the three-day celebration. For the first time in Pub in the Park history, one of the UK’s favourite TV chefs known for iconic cookery programmes such as Ready Steady Cook, Ainsley Harriott will be cooking up a storm all day on Saturday. He will be joined on the line-up by none other than Sunday Brunch star Simon Rimmer, launching the party Pub in the Park style on Friday evening. What’s more Irish chef, renowned restaurateur and TV personality Anna Haugh will be taking over and hosting the event on Lazy Sunday for a spectacular send-off. Festival goers can expect exclusive Q&A’s and delicious live demos from the talented trio of hosts.
If that wasn’t enough, even more chefs and experts will be at the fun-filled festival hosting the smorgasbord of exciting chef and music stages. Andy Clarke will be bringing the vibes to the main stage, while the Crazy Sexy Food podcast host Hannah Young will be getting top cooking tips on the chef demo stage. If open flame cooking is your thing, BBQ revolutionists Sam & Shauna will be showing you how it’s done on the Firepit.
Still need more food for thought? For the first time ever, superstar musician Danny Jones from McFly is teaming up with legendary chef Tom Kerridge to kickstart a summer of Rock n Roll Cooking at Pub in the Park. Bringing together two of the greatest joys in life – food and music – festival goers can expect a series of collaborations between chefs who have a passion for music, and musicians that fancy themselves a bit of a maestro in the kitchen. Talking of Music, Wimbledon residents can expect more incredible live gigs from some huge names in music Get ready to dance all night long as pop legends Bananarama will be headlining Friday night, supported by the Godfather of party bangers, DJ Judge Jules. For Saturday afternoon, look no further than feel good British band The Feeling and a DJ set by Dick and Dom, with the ultimate electronic music group Clean Bandit along with DJ Spoony taking to the Pub in the Park stage on Saturday evening. They will be joined by sensational signer songwriter Gabrielle, chart-topping music ensemble The Christians and The Beatles Dub Club who will be closing the fun-filled festival on Lazy Sunday.
