ST RAPHAEL’S WOOF FEST – THE NEWEST DOG FESTIVAL IN TOWN!
St Raphael’s Hospice have launched their very first Woof Fest, a brand-new event for furry friends and their human companions!
The newest dog festival in town will be taking place at Beddington Park on Saturday 17 September, with £5 entry. This family fun day out is set to host a festival-load of fun throughout the day, with activities, workshops and stalls to be announced along the way.
As a key fundraising event for St Raphael’s, the charity aims to raise vital funds with every ticket sold, enabling them to continue providing free, expert end-of-life care to the people of Merton and Sutton.
All 2-legged and 4-legged friends can keep their paws moving on the day by signing up for an exciting sponsored Treasure Trail dog walk. The walk will entail a picturesque 2-mile trail through Beddington Park. Walkers and their pups are encouraged to get their loved ones onboard to help sponsor their walk through JustGiving – sharing in the excitement to support the trail, all while helping to raise funds for your local Hospice. Signing up for the walk is quick and easy through St Raphael’s website.
Woof Fest is an exciting event that has been created for dog lovers, by dog lovers. St Raphael’s love both people and pets and value the importance of companionship for each person in their care. The Hospice have their very own Pets as Therapy “PAT” dogs who visit patients and provide them with additional support, love and happy distractions.
