Theatre outdoors at your local cricket club
A socially distanced production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is heading to a cricket club near you
An outdoor, family friendly, socially distanced production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is touring at the end of August and beginning of September, coming to cricket grounds in south west London and Surrey. The cast is made up of six actor musicians all on breaks from contracts in the West End or regional theatres. It was founded by Max Hutchinson, who was seven weeks into a nine month contract on The Woman in Black in the West End when we went into lockdown so he formed Scoot Theatre in an attempt to get some live theatre going again in a safe and responsible way.
Expect chaos, confusion and water fights in this romp through Shakespeare in 60 minutes, suitable for all ages.
