Mr Hamilton’s Science and Curiosities Trail – Painshill, Cobham, 11 Feb – 26 Feb

Encourage curious minds and enjoy a family walking trail full of amazing facts, named after Charles Hamilton who designed Painshill in the 18th century.

Imagine Children’s Festival – Southbank Centre, 8 – 18 Feb

A wonderful festival for children up to 11 years old (their grown-ups can join, too). Encompassing over 100 events, 50% of which are free, it’s all about creativity, individuality, diversity and imagination.

Visit Wimbledon Museum

An exciting programme of activities celebrating local heritage! Head to Wimbledon Museum for creative fun, sensory-friendly activities and some exciting sessions.

Jack v Giant – Polka Theatre, 11 Feb – 26 Mar

Join Jack, a brave young girl who embarks on a giant adventure! She sells the family cow in return for some magic beans… An exciting new musical based on the classic fairytale.

Bird Buddy – Wakehurst, 11 – 19 Feb

A bird-themed activity trail, workshops and birds of prey displays awaits you a bit further afield, in Wakehurst. Get your kids to take part in a themed mission to collect the first embroidered badge for their Nature Heroes cape!

Chimps Are Family – Kingston Town Centre, from 26 Jan

10 chimpanzee artworks from the hugely successful public art exhibition, ‘Chimps Are Family’ by Gillie and Marc are heading to the town centre. Bring your kids on the trail that supports conservation efforts.

Dance class – Gatton Park, 14 & 16 Feb

Unlock your child’s imagination by introducing them to the world of dance. Choose between street dance and ballet (or both).

London Transport Museum Fun, 11 – 19 Feb

Gear up for a giant game of Connect 4, employ your puzzle solving skills on a trail around the galleries and add your message to the Tube mural.

Starchitects Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, 17 – 18 Feb

Five children dream of reaching the moon from their bedroom…join the ‘Starchitects’ as they plan their daring mission. Engaging for audiences of all ages – tiny tots too.

Houseplant Takeover Deep Sea Dive – RHS Garden Wisley – 4 Feb – 12 March

Familiar houseplants mix with other weird and wonderful plants from the Wisley Glasshouse collections in this fascinating exhibition that colonises undersea rocks, shipwrecks and treasure chests.
