To celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, an art installation will be on display in Wimbledon Town Centre throughout the summer showcasing five different stunning plinth designs to mark the special occasion. Love Wimbledon has enlisted the help of the local schoolchildren who are passionate about our planet, to create a design for the 5th plinth that fits in with the official theme to ‘Plant a tree for the Platinum Jubilee’. See if you can spot the town centre installations to commemorate the Queen’s 70-year reign – congratulations, Your Majesty! Sponsored by A-Plan Insurance, Elys, Morr & Co, The Piazza and WSM. Jubilee-Themed Market
Continuing the festivities, our popular Local Market on The Piazza returns this June with a twist. Come and enjoy food, shopping and entertainment – a good spot to soak up the atmosphere and pick up the perfect pudding for your street party or Big Jubilee Lunch. Visit the market 4-5 June.
Get set for events in Wimbledon all summer long with new sustainably driven stalls at our market 7-8th May, tennis on the Big Screen and Friday Food Markets with seating and music for all to enjoy.
