The Perfect Bonfire Night Treat
An awesome dessert that can be made in minutes – a perfect treat for Bonfire Night brought to you by Opies. Great when your sweet tooth takes over.
Cherry S’mores Waffles
Ingredients:
- 4 sweet waffles
- 200 g milk chocolate, broken into chunks
- 100 g mini marshmallows
- 125 g Opies Cocktail Cherries, drained and halved
- 3 tbsp white chocolate chips
Method
- Place each waffle onto a large piece of tin foil, about 4 times its size.
- Top with milk chocolate, marshmallows, cherries and finally the white chocolate chips.
- Bring the edges of the tin foil up to meet in the middle then scrunch together to make a loose parcel that encloses the waffles.
- Place on the barbecue or under a hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes until the chocolate and marshmallows have just melted.
- Enjoy hot straight from the foil.
Hints and Tips: These delicious treats are just as easy to enjoy without a barbecue. Grill under medium-high heat for 6-8 mins until the marshmallows and chocolate start to melt.
