2019 will see dark shades of blues and greens combined with dusky pinks and intense colours to create bold botanical prints, particularly on sofas. While lighter colours and prints appear unseasonal during the colder months, dark velvety prints on dark walls are great for winter. Think modern-day William Morris and you’re along the right lines.

As homeowners grow evermore informed, shopping sustainably becomes more of an exciting interior trend for SS19. Natural and sustainably produced materials will feature in all areas of the home from reclaimed scaffold tables through to artisan-made lamps.
JUNGLE
Animal prints were a big thing in the fashion world for 2018, and they’ve now reached our living room, with big bold leopard print an option for sofas, jungle-inspired wallpaper prints and exotic furniture that makes you feel like you’re diving into an Henri Rousseau painting.

Pantone’s colour of 2019 is Living Coral and it’s going to be everywhere. Admittedly, the super-feminine shade won’t be to everyone’s taste but you can always just reference it in accessories. Love it? Go bold in wallpapers.

There are plenty of uplifting colours around this year, including mustard yellow, mango and turmeric.
