Business Awards Season Launching in June

What’s the aim of these awards you ask? Well, it’s simple. They want to celebrate and recognise businesses in Merton that have shown resilience, excellence, innovation and best practice in the borough. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Applications will open at the launch event on Thursday 1 June at the newest venue in the borough – The Golf Groove. Guests will meet past winners and sponsors, get tips on completing the application form, network with other Merton businesses and try the new high-tech immersive golf experience.

The launch event is in partnership with Centre Court Shopping Centre, long standing sponsors of the awards. Alexander Woolf, Strategy Director at Romulus said: “We’ve long been proud to be sponsors of the Merton Best Business Awards, allowing Merton’s finest to showcase their individual qualities and the various attributes that make Merton such a dynamic place to work and live. This year, we are very pleased to introduce The Golf Groove as our host for the launch event; the first of one of many new occupiers being introduced to Centre Court as part of the exciting redevelopment of the Centre that includes a mix of uses and our new courtyard under a fully retractable roof.”
