Biagio Morreale celebrates community and staying on trend in 2022 and beyond.

Located on the vibrant Parkgate Road, adjacent to Ransomes Dock and just round the corner from the iconic Albert Bridge and ever-popular Battersea Park, Uffizi Hair Gallery is perfectly positioned in Battersea to welcome clients and has long been established as the leading hair salon in the area.

Uffizi Hair Gallery was opened by owner and manager Biagio, 25 years ago, to give local customers a “west end experience”, without unnecessary travel. He wanted to create a truly fantastic “in-salon” hair experience for all clients. Biagio says, “It is a thrill to celebrate 25 years of Uffizi Hair Gallery and I look forward to 2022 and beyond! Battersea is ever-evolving and expanding. I am proud to be part of a community which welcomes progress and embraces changes and diversity. New buildings and community members ensure that the area is constantly growing. Similarly, to stay at the top of the game in hairdressing, I have always made it a priority to recognise progress and changes in the hairdressing world.

This means embracing new influences, trends, techniques and products which are also evolving. My team in the hair gallery always have a vast amount of experience so are able to fulfil all our clients requests.”

Biagio completed his training under the tutelage of Neville Daniel. It is safe to say, 25 years on, that “vision” has been a huge triumph! Uffizi Hair Gallery was a success from the start.

Biagio’s philosophy has always been to listen to all clients’ needs with the emphasis on giving each individual client a truly rewarding and wonderful hair salon experience, using his exceptional skill, talent and years of experience as an expert stylist and a precision cutting specialist. A big part of the local community, it’s very unlikely that you will ever have an appointment with Biagio without someone waving through the window as they pass by … suffice to say he is well-known in Battersea! He has created the most friendly and welcoming salon, offering expert hair care for all clients.

Working with Biagio are his wonderful team, who have an inordinate amount of years of experience between them! Nico is a familiar face as a key member of the Uffizi team, having worked alongside Biagio for over 8 years. Piero, who previously trained with Vidal Sassoon, has been a key member of the Tigi/Bedhead management team, and is a creative cutter and stylist. Nathalie joins Uffizi from Paris, where she successfully ran her own hair salon. Her skill in hair colour means Uffizi can offer clients the French Balayage look, adored by celebrities such as Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lopez, Natalie Portman, Sarah Jessica Parker and Halle Berry, to name but a few! It is also the perfect look for winter (according to Glamour magazine).

The French balayage look uses a natural freehand technique on ribbons of hair with no foils. This personalises the colour, and enhances your cut, colour, texture and dimension. It is emerging as one of the most requested hair colour trends in salons, and Uffizi is delighted to be able to offer Nathalie’s skill to clients.

Biagio and his team are looking forward to celebrating Christmas which will be a particularly special year for getting dressed up to party. Biagio recommends party hairstyles will be fresh and full of energy, favouring big, bouncy styles, full of movement, with flicks and waves; free-flowing, happy hair!
