SEE THE TERRIBLE TUDORS
Hampton Court Palace is bringing back the much-loved Horrible Histories Live on Stage, with hour long outdoor performances of the Terrible Tudors taking place in the picturesque East Front Gardens. (29 May – 5 June)

INTERACTIVE SHAKESPEARE IN THE GARDEN
An interactive theatrical experience inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream is heading to the grounds of Fulham Palace. Titania’s Dream, from Kilburn Live, will introduce young audiences to Shakespeare in a fun way while making the most of the outdoors. 20 May – 6 June. More info.

CYCLE & PICNIC
From May 21 and through summer, Kew Gardens has launched cycle evenings so you can explore the park on two wheels. Bring a picnic or stop for a treat at one of the pop-up food stands. Check website for dates. More info.

DISCOVER SECRET GARDENS
Discover a local garden that you have never visited such as Fulham Palace, which has a fascinating history reflecting the lives of the bishops who lived there. Or head to the tranquil space of Wimbledon’s Cannizaro Park.

BUDDING ARTISTS
The incredibly creative Colour Kids Club is running a virtual Art Club on 2 June and as we will be approaching summer, they will be drawing sea turtles. The workshop will run via zoom and it will last approximately 1 hr 45 minutes. £12.50 per child or £22 for two siblings. Call 07939 626287 to book.

LONDON ADVENTURES
With indoor attractions re-opening from May 17, book for top spots such as the Sea Life Centre, with a vast collection of marine life, including Gentoo penguins and sea turtles. There’s also the Coral Kingdom, the Rainforest Adventure and Shark Walk to explore. You could also see London through fresh eyes, with a Vox City guide. Download the app, join up with a very knowledgeable guide in real life and hop on and off the walking tour as much as you like. Or listen to the pre-recorded commentary for all the places of interest around the capital.

DARE TO DROP INTO THE CROC
Head to Chessington World of Adventures for its latest ride where you whizz up to dizzying heights before being dropped into the steaming mouth of the croc. There’s all the usual faves too, plus a beach area for chilling, and a new pirate ship.
