There are all kinds of magical and ghoulish events going on for London Halloween 2021. We’ve found the best activities for families and adults so that you don’t miss out on all the fun. From gorgeous pumpkin farms to chilling fright nights, here are the spooky spots you need to visit this autumn.
BEST SPOTS FOR FAMILIES

HALLOWEEN TRAIL AT DISCOVERY LAND, PRIORY FARM
Redhill
Visit Discovery Land at Priory Farm for its Halloween trail. Follow the Treasure Map to find the Pumpkin Pirates’ hidden treasure, venturing through ancient woodland, green pastures, and around the fishing lakes – with Halloween surprises along the way! You can also book tractor rides to the pumpkin fields (selected dates).

PUMPKIN FESTIVAL, CROCKFORD BRIDGE FARM
Near Weybridge
Celebrate everything pumpkin at Crockford Bridge Farm’s festival. Show off your artistic skills in the pumpkin decorating area, try fun pumpkin-themed games, visit the pumpkin market, or ogle at impressive pumpkin displays. Afterwards enjoy fresh apple juice straight from the tap, or homemade soup and toffee apples.

SECRETTS PUMPKIN WEEK, HURST FARM
Milford
For a proper family day out head to Secretts during their pumpkin picking week. Take a spooky trip to their pumpkin fields and pick your favourite from the crop, try pumpkin-themed foods and enter the fancy dress competition. Make sure to get tickets in early September as they sell out fast!

WITCHES AND WIZARDS WEEK, BOCKETTS FARM
Leatherhead
There’s a lot for you and your family to enjoy at Bocketts Farm this Halloween. Explore the Creepy Craft Corner, hop on to the Tractor and Trailer Ride, or head to Pumpkin Village, where there are great opportunities for family photos. If you’re feeling brave, you can also meet all sorts of spooky animals and creepy crawlies at the Reptile Roadshow and Meet and Greets with birds of prey.

HOWL’O’WEEN, CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES
Chessington
Head to Chessington this October half term for a bunch of spooky sights and surprises. Keep your eyes peeled, as you might run into some Wild Witches, Plunderous Pirates and Ferocious Pharaohs. The Forgotten Forest is a great spot for younger kids, where they can discover all kinds of fascinating creatures within the mystical woods. The Legend of the Wild Witches show is not to be missed; it features a magical dance performance alongside exciting and chilling secrets about the spooky witches themselves.

GHOST HUNT, LEITH HILL PLACE
Leith Hill
If you’re brave enough, why not take on the role of paranormal investigator this Halloween weekend? Explore the haunting history of Leith Hill Place and keep an eye out for some ghostly sights, including the legendary ‘screaming woman’. Book now to be part of the first-known paranormal crew to explore this location. The event runs from 7.30 p.m. – 12.00 a.m. and there is only one night available, so don’t miss out!

FRIGHT NIGHTS, THORPE PARK

Recommended for thrill-seekers aged 13+, this award-winning event is definitely one to remember. With terrifying mazes and scare zones, you’ll really feel immersed in the Halloween spirit. If you still have your wits about you, make sure to take a ride on some of Thorpe Park’s spine-chilling rollercoasters, including Saw and the ten-looped Colossus.

NEVERLAND’S DAY OF THE DEAD
Fulham
Prepare for a good scare and huge celebration at Neverland’s Day of the Dead. With incredible cocktails, food and performers from the West End, it’ll definitely be a night to remember. WANDSWORTH COMMON HALLOWEEN BEER FESTIVAL
Royal Patriotic Building, Wandsworth
Enjoy a great afternoon or evening at the 12th annual beer festival. With over 100 beers and ciders from across Britain, there’s bound to be something for everyone. You get your first pint free with a £10 entry, and there’s also incredible live music on the Friday and Saturday to make it a Halloween spectacular.

HALLOWEEN SPECIALS AT THE EXHIBIT
Balham
Not everyone knows that the Exhibit bar and restaurant also has a hidden cinema filled with comfy sofas. There’s a great movie line-up for the season this year, with fantastic showings including The Omen, Get Out and Silence of the Lambs. There’s something for every horror movie enthusiast at this hidden gem near Balham station.
