Designing Dream Gardens
We speak to Ed and Claire Belderbos who won Best Enterprising Business at the Merton Best Business Awards on behalf of Belderbos Landscapes
Tell us about your business?
Belderbos Landscapes designs, landscapes and maintains beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. We have an experienced team of in-house garden designers as well as working with independent designers to create inspirational spaces to live and work. Projects vary from small city gardens to high-end, complex projects in London and the Home Counties.
Why were you voted Best Enterprising Business?
We are a growing, family business with a fantastic team. Recent high-profile and ambitious landscaping projects around London and winning Gold and Best in Show at this year’s RHS Hampton Court Flower Show have reinforced our credible track record.
Thanks to our team of knowledgeable and experienced gardeners, garden maintenance is a growing part of our business. All our gardeners take real pride in what they do and enjoy building trusting relationships with our local clients. We maintain private residential gardens, communal gardens, schools and restaurants to ensure they are looking their best throughout the year.
Early in 2020, we are opening The Landscape Hub; a co-working office for creatives, whether it’s a growing enterprise looking for more space, or a small start-up keen to be surrounded with like-minded professionals. The hub will exist alongside the Belderbos HQ, offering inspirational offi ce space, with regular networking and social events for businesses operating in the homes and gardens sector such as garden designers, architects, interior designers, property developers, landscape architects and structural engineers. It will be a positive place to work, fostering collaboration and synergy.
The creation of The Landscape Hub is an exciting stage of our company development. We look forward to the opportunity of working closer with other local businesses as well as being committed to providing beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces all over South West London.
