Sylvia A Consultancy: Cooking With The Kids
We talk to Sylvia Anderson, a mum to 11-year-old twins who have inspired her foodie business
I’m Sylvia, a mum to twins who are my world, and they love homemade food like me. My grandparents were farmers in the south of France, and I was raised with fresh, healthy, nutritious food and great cooking. Fast forward several years, I left school to train as a chef and I have been blessed to work at some amazing places over the last 30 years.
I am a multi award-winning trainer at Sylvia A Consultancy specialising in food hygiene, allergens, nutrition, fi rst aid and health & safety to the hospitality industry, mainly training chefs at Michelin Star and high end restaurants. I decided I would like to utilise my skills and experience to teach the younger generation about cooking healthy food.
I think it is important to improve the wellbeing of kids across the UK, which is why we are dedicated to teaching them about the importance of being able to cook for themselves. My twins love learning about food, and it was their sense of achievement for learning new skills that inspired this business.
Educating the younger generation about nutritious food and a healthy lifestyle is what Kids Love 2 Cook is all about.
