Myra Ali interviews Jamie and Michael
Michael and Jamie reveal the responsibility they feel to get this important story of injustice and racism out there. The actors also talk about diversity in the film industry. Just Mercy is the first film from Michael’s production company, alongside Warner Bros, to have used the inclusion rider, a clause that actors and others in the industry can put in their contracts to demand diversity in the hiring of cast and crew. It is about ensuring that everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or disability, gets a fair opportunity. Hear what they have to say…
