Autumn Trends

Check Mates
The check is appearing in many guises this autumn/winter: either bold with clashing colours or pretty in pink. For a modern take on a classic look, Hobbs has an elegant coat that will look stylish for years to come.

Jungle Fever
Prepare yourself for an influx of animal print this season. We aren’t just talking leopard… zebra, snakeskin and croc all made their way into the autumn preview shows and the high street is set to follow suit. Don’t save this trend for a night out: LK Bennett’s printed dress is so versatile, it can be worn for work and for dinner dates.

Leather, whatever the weather
The leather look shows strength and finesse but it’s not all about jackets. Think skirts in berry hues or with clever detailing, or try a leather pinafore - both make a great twist on office-wear when teamed with a white shirt. Throw on a chunky knit as the weather cools.

Cape Crusader
Capes were out in full force at the autumn/winter shows, and they can add drama to your everyday look. Try a trench cape, like this from Red Valentino, a great alternative to the trusty mac. Or Boutique Moschino’s wool blend style is one you’re unlikely to tire of. Pair it with skinny jeans and ankle boots or wear over a tailored suit.
